When we have decided to grow our beard the most important factor, to consider, without a doubt, is the style. Although for essential reasons the care and treatment of this process is of the utmost importance, knowing how to choose the most appropriate type of beard for our face will help us achieve a more attractive and aesthetic appearance.

By rules of the visagism of the masculine face, the face of “diamond” form is the ideal for man, according to these standards. This structure, visually, has marked and strong cheekbones with a narrow chin.

To imitate this type of face we can lean on the beard to achieve harmonious results. Although, the faces are divided into some more common groups: square face, rectangular or elongated face and round face. Each of these divisions can be used as a reference to detect the type of face we have and, thus, be able to choose the style of beard that suits us best.

SQUARED FACE

The structure that we should imitate is the diamond face, so if the face is square anatomy, the ideal is to use a long chin beard and cut from the sides with a light rounded. Once defining this design it is necessary to take into account the correct length.

RECTANGULAR FACE

It should be short on the chin and wide on the sideburns, this, visually, will help to cut the face with a half moon formed with the facial hair.

ROUND FACE

This type of face is one of the most common so giving it more length when sharpening it on the chin and cutting the volume at the level of the cheekbones becomes the infallible option. To this type face and to the square, a beard that covers a little more the part of the neck goes better to him, because, visually, it will extend the face downwards.
