Djeko and the construction of a personal style

Many of the Mexico City’s lifestyle and fashion events have something in common: the music is mixed live by the French DJ Djeko,who, besides being just a DJ, he is part of an experimental electronic music band called Lemon Mint, where he makes the vocals and percussions. In his almost 7 years in Mexico, he has developed a unique style that is admired by many, although according to him he is not very into fashion. “It’s not something I follow or study closely.” 

”I am very happy in my life thats why I almost always use the hashtag #purevie.” That happiness can be seen in the way he dresses, always with a touch of humor, bright prints, vintage cuts, jewelry and some hats. But even though everything is all smiles, Djeko admits some of his flaws. “I’m addicted to beer and I hate politics.” They do not seem to be very serious flaws …
