Memo Capital would not change anything in his profession
In Mexico there are more and more bloggers every time (each with very different levels of success, of course), but it is much more common in fashion to see women than men. About two years ago, a brand approached me to work with them,They told me they would also hire another male blogger, Memo Capital, “so that there will be one with more classic style, and another one … like you.
Memo is one of the most successful male bloggers in Mexico. His collaborations are with international brands, and he is one of the people that has been doing this for the longest time (Teamed up with her female counterpart, Moda Capital, one of the first bloggers in Mexico). I interviewed him for the site and about his influences or fashion icons (“David Gandy, Nick Wooster, Adam Gallagher and Steve McQueen”), what would be his ideal closet? (Don Draper’s of Mad Men) in general about his philosophy and point of view of fashion and the importance of clothing in the life of a man. “I have a t-shirt with a classic sports car on it and it is significant to me because that model was the first car I bought with my own money.”
In my opinion, although he always maintains a classic and conservative style, Memo tries to take more risks to use different, more colorful things. I think, just as I do, the more time you spend in contact with fashion, the more you get to explore the possibilities. But one thing is for sure, he says he would never use Crocs. And as for the future, he would love to have a chain of restaurants or food trucks. And surely it will be the most stylish place to go to eat in this city.
